THE PROCESS

How the pipeline works

Borrowers come to KnowBeforeYouClose for a second opinion on their Loan Estimate. We review the numbers, screen the opportunity, and release introductions only when there is a clear fit between borrower needs and partner coverage.

01BORROWER REQUEST

Borrower requests a second opinion

A borrower receives a Loan Estimate and wants to understand whether the fees, pricing, or rate are competitive. They submit key details to KnowBeforeYouClose for an independent review.

02AUDIT + SCREENING

We review the file and screen the opportunity

We analyze the key pricing inputs, flag cost discrepancies, and review the overall deal context. If the borrower wants another option, we screen for timing, intent, and fit before moving forward.

03PARTNER MATCHING

The opportunity appears in the partner portal

Qualified opportunities are matched based on state coverage, loan profile, and partner capacity. At this stage, partners see anonymized opportunity data only, not borrower identity.

04APPROVED INTRODUCTION

Approved introductions are released with context

Once the introduction is approved, the selected partner receives borrower contact information, audit findings, and founder screening notes so the first conversation starts with clarity.

PRIVACY-PROTECTED PIPELINE

Borrower identity stays protected until introduction approval

Before an introduction is approved, partners see anonymized opportunity details only. Borrower names and contact information are released only after the founder approves the introduction. This protects borrower trust and helps ensure partners receive qualified opportunities instead of cold leads.

Not every borrower request becomes an introduction. Opportunities are approved only when the fit is clear.

AFTER APPROVAL

What partners receive with every introduction

Approved introductions are delivered with enough context to make the first conversation productive.

Borrower contact information

Name, phone number, and email are released after the introduction is approved so outreach can begin directly.

Loan details and audit findings

Partners receive loan context including amount range, timeline, deal score, and flagged cost discrepancies from the audit review.

Founder screening notes

Each approved introduction includes intake context on borrower goals, timing, motivation, and any relevant details discussed during screening.

This is not a shared lead list. It is a screened introduction with context.
